Informations about Prestige Hotels
History of Polish Prestige Hotels marketing programme.
The reason of the Programme rising was the need of creating on Polish market the serious alternative to bigger and bigger activity of foreign hotels chains causing the loss of Polish identity of hotels.
Creating of a new make "Polish Prestige Hotels" and consequently its popularization on domestic and foreign tourist markets is
the effect of activity of the hotels participating in the Programme.
The area of cooperation within the confine of Programme concerns those hotels which:
do not belong to global hotels chains,
are characterized by distinctive standard and high quality of services,
are not rival to each other ( for the sake of their different localization and different markets potential),
have got at least three stars category.
On ten hotels - Programme founders, initiative at the end of the year 1997 there were signed "General Agreement of Cooperation",
which was the peculiar Constitution of the Programme, and there was established the marketing programme of Polish Prestige Hotels.
The scope and types of negotiated by Agreements Parts voluntary commitments show that "Polish Prestige Hotels" is a marketing programme.
Its basic element is the system of setting in motion the discounts of basic rooms prices in hotels PPH and simple procedure of awarding
of those travelers which choose the offer of PPH hotels (for getting the 20% of discount is enough if the guest gives to hotel reception
his individual card of his staying in another hotel of PPH).
Programme is designed to individual guests, but in case of interesting of companies in it there are possibilities of recommendation by
particular hotels. The recommendation opens the way to bilateral negotiations for granting discounts for the whole companies not only
for their particular workers.
Polish Prestige Hotels has not got capital and shares character, has not got the legal personality,
it is not a hotel chain, but it is the marketing programme for intended common promotion cooperation for
getting new gests and for increase of sales. Program is designed mainly to business guests sector, and its leading banner is
"We take care on your prestige at sensible price".
PPH Programme was noticed by hotels line of business and as well as by hotel guests. Until the year 1998 in the range of the Programme there
were realized some thousand nights lodgings.
First time in the Programme history there were the participation of the Programme in foreign fairs as the Group PPH, and not like till now
individually by each hotel, which occasionally in its own promotion informed about the existing of the groups PPH and PPR (The Group PPH
took part in the foreign tourism fairs in Kaunas, Kijev, and in London).
In the year 2002 first time there were organized Study Tour for foreign tour operators.
There were organized the series of ventures promoting the Program in the range of qualified tourism - I Polish Nation-Wide Regatta
of PPH and PPR in Mikolajki 21-22 IX 2002r.
From April 1, 2003 there established The Internet Hotel Reservation and Room Sales for hotel taking part in the Programme.
